Last week, we travelled with Janey’s Got a Bus to see the Coastal Black Pumpkin park in Comox. WOW! This place is huge with millions of pumpkins set out differently. I will review the park on “Damn I Gotta Read This” site You should make the trip and then go into the Blackfin Pub for lunch.
There were 8 of us and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Our server, Sarah is a wonderful asset to the restaurant for sure. I had something you wouldn’t think works but it does. I had the Mac and Cheese (made the old fashioned way) with elbow macaroni, wonderful sauce and now with shrimp and crab. These were whole shrimp minus the tails and crab pieces. OMGoodness was it ever delicious. Yup! I brought mine home as it was wonderfully large. Don wanted to share it as well.
Don ordered the Skirt Steak Sandwich and really liked it. No left overs here. He never orders a skirt steak but this was really tasty.
It is fun to take these jaunts and visit different restaurants. This is a really good one.
